I am an obese man trapped in a fat man’s body
Look, I am no fan of Mitt Romney, but this whole big deal about his one bullying incident from high school bothers me. What he did is certainly wrong, and even he admits it, but of all of the things we should criticize him for, this one really doesn’t matter in the long run.
We all did stupid things in high school. That’s kind of the point of it, isn’t it? While it doesn’t excuse Romney’s actions, it really has no bearing on who he is as a person almost 50 years later. I know I certainly did stupid things in high school that don’t define me just seven years later.
People who don’t like Romney are using this to demonize him just the way that people who don’t like Obama used his past drug use to demonize him.
In the end, what matters now is who the person is today.
…whenever a bill like Amendment 1 came about, I would do my best to tack on a rider so that if the bill passed, it would also make divorce illegal and legalize polygamy so that the state would better conform to the traditional marriage as described in the Bible.
Stay in school, kids.
There are few things worse than those who remain proudly ignorant.

Ignorant people in North Carolina are so blinded by their hate and ignorance, that they apparently didn’t consider the non-homophobic implications of their ignorantly worded amendment.
The results from North Carolina are infuriating. This is just another instance of a majority voting to limit the rights of minorities. Proponents of this bill will be remembered the same way we remember those who gave us the Jim Crow Laws. While this is just a temporary setback and will be overturned in the future, these people have forever put their names on the wrong side of history.
